Have you ever wondered what an exhibition needs to be successful? Certainly great art and a convincing curatorial concept. But the organisation of the space and especially the lighting are equally key factors influencing our visual and emotional perception. To display a photograph or a painting in a spatial context is a challenging task. Art works require only the best quality in light – one might even say that they are the fiercest critics of a lighting designer. This is why we are especially proud of our current collaboration with Film Forum Frankfurt.
Art meets Design meets Historx
The exhibition “EYES WIDE OPEN! 100 Years of Leica Photography” illuminates various aspects of 35mm photography, from journalistic strategies to documentary approaches and artistic positions. We sponsored the exhibition and equipped the exhibition space with a selection of our lighting collection.
