Textile shade reloaded: Similar to the Flemish pleat, the cloths are ruffled to an attractive and three-dimensional structure through an embroidery technique called Smocking. A convenient side effect: the relief-like material made out of firmly woven tussah silk becomes stretchable; the covers can be removed from the translucent synthetic cylinder for washing.
All other component parts are made of cut stainless steel. And the E27 socket is compatible to all common and modern illuminants.
The new floor lamp can be used as a reading light next to a sofa or armchair but also as an ambient lighting. The smooth transitions from the standard tube into the circular stand as well as the lighting socket suits its character and almost to any setting. With the switch located at the bottom area of the shade, the lighting can be switched and dimmed – from comfortable to vibrantly bright.
