About the restaurant Amador:
Juan Amador, German star chef with Spanish roots, has more than 20 years of international cooking experience with the best cuisines in the world. His culinary skills earned him three toques and three stars in eight consecutive years . In order to realize his cooking philosophy, Amador is always on the lookout for the best products, which he uses to come up with creative, authentic dishes of the highest standard. Since 2016, he has been represented by the Amador restaurant in Vienna Döbling, which has been awarded two stars and, in 2018 entry into the the exclusive hotel and restaurant association Relais & Châteaux. It is a joint project of Juan Amador, the tourism professional Gebhard Schachermayer and the famous Viennese winemaker Fritz Wieninger. The converted cellar vault of Wieininger, home to 45 seats and a wine cellar which houses over 1,200 fine wines from all over the world, is traditional yet elegant. This is, of course, also reflected in the dishes of Amador.
