Soulful lighting renovation: Gasthof Löwen in Hausen am Albis (CH)

Newly and extensively refurbished: The Gasthof Löwen in Hausen am Albis was newly illuminated by the Swiss lighting designer Martin Nievergelt in a contemporary manner.

The inn – or the “Dorfbeiz” as the locals call it – has been there for 186 years. With 14 rooms, a large hall with stage, a restaurant area on the ground floor and a bar in the basement, the Gasthof Löwen is a witness to the history of Hausen and a central gastronomic institution in the heart of Hausen am Albis. www.loewen-hausen.ch
