Eternal light at the Jewish cemetery in Michelstadt
serien.lighting illuminates the tomb of the Baal Shem of Michelstadt.
The architectural office of Prof. Alfred Jacoby designed a canopy for the pilgrimage site and entrusted serien.lighting with the realisation of the eternal light. Designed for this special place, a specially developed custom luminaire combines a glass tube with a Star of David and a corten steel housing.
The grave of the Baal Shem of Michelstadt – Seckel Löb Wormser – is a much-visited pilgrimage site of the international Jewish community and is constantly visited by Orthodox Jews from all over the world.
It is located at the Jewish Cemetery in Michelstadt in southern Hesse and is a protected cultural monument.
