And the Oscar goes to …. Nationale und internationale Filmqualitäten konnten einige unserer Leuchten in der jüngsten Vergangenheit beweisen. Und das nicht in „irgendwelchen“ Filmproduktionen.
So kommen am 15. November 2012 unsere SML Wall Halogen mit „Cloud Atlas“ unter der Regie von Tom Tykwer und der Wachowsky- Geschwister in die deutschen Kinos und zeigen an der Seite von Tom Hanks und Halle Berry, was sie können.
Als Protagonistin des hochgelobten Films „Ghostwriter“ von Roman Polanski hatte bereits Schreibtisch-Leuchte Job Filmreife bewiesen. Gemeinsam mit Pierce Brosnan brachte sie Licht ins Dunkel der Handlung und überzeugte in mehrfach prominenter Darstellung. In dem englischen Politthriller, wie Cloud Atlas produziert im Studio Babelsberg, kamen neben Job noch weitere Leuchtenmodelle aus der serien.lighting Kollektion auf die Leinwand.
Fans der Leuchte Club müssen sich noch bis Oktober 2013 gedulden. Dann kommt diedänisch- deutsche Verfilmung des Jussi Adler-Olsen Krimis „Erbarmen“ unter der Regie von Mikkel Nørgaard in die Kinos. Gedreht wird in Schleswig-Holstein, produziert wird der Thriller von dem berühmten dänischen Produktionshaus Zentropa Entertainments mit Niederlassung in Berlin, das 1992 von Peter Aalbaek Jensen und Lars von Trier anlässlich der Produktion von “Europa” gegründet wurde. Club wird hier in der Produktion eine wichtige Beleuchterrolle übernehmen. Mehr jedoch wird noch nicht verraten….
Übrigens: Nicht nur international sind unsere Leuchten in der Welt des Films unterwegs. Zu erwähnen ist hier beispielhaft die Kinoproduktion „Vatertage – Opa über Nacht“ mit Heiner Lauterbach und Christiane Paul, die im September 2012 Premiere feierte. In der Komödie ist serien.lighting gleich mehrfach vertreten mit Slant Table, Poppy Lüster Wall, Zoom, Annex Suspension, Club und Pan Am.
Und: Kriminalistisch beleuchtet wird mit uns seit geraumer Zeit auch das Büro von Matthias Brandt alias Hanns von Meuffels im Polizeiruf 110.

Luminaires from serien.lighting as movie stars
And the Oscar goes to …. Several of our luminaires have recently starred in national and international movies and proven their qualities in the film industry. And not just in “any” film productions.
On November 15, 2012 our SML Wall Halogen will premiere in German movie theaters in “Cloud Atlas”, directed by Tom Tykwer and Lana and Andy Wachowsky. There they will show what they are capable of alongside Tom Hanks and Halle Berry.
As a protagonist in Roman Polanski’s highly acclaimed “Ghostwriter”, the desk lamp Job had already proved its suitability for the silver screen. Together with Pierce Brosnan it shed light on the darkness of the plot and stood out in several scenes. In addition to Job, further models from the serien.lighting collection graced the screen in the British political thriller, like “Cloud Atlas” produced at Babelsberg Studio.
Fans of the luminaire Club will have to wait until October 2013, when the Danish-German film production of Jussi Adler-Olsen’s crime-thriller “The Keeper of Lost Causes” directed by Mikkel Nørgaard will hit cinemas. It is being shot in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein and produced by the famous Danish production company Zentropa Entertainments, founded in 1992 by Peter Aalbaek Jensen and Lars von Trier during the production of “Europa” and with a branch in Berlin. Club will assume a key role as illuminator in the production. But that is all we are giving away at the moment ….
